KWM Consulting transforms your meetings and events into strategically aligned, business-supporting, and results-generating investments that drive your team and business success.
It’s time…to transform your meetings and events from simply ‘fun’ to ‘fun’, STRATEGIC, and IMPACTFUL. Don’t get me wrong; ‘fun’ is important…but you and your team should be expecting and planning for your event or meeting to deliver MUCH MORE.
Leaders and teams are called now more than ever to connect purpose, goals, metrics, critical success factors, and audience experience to their engagement strategies and plans. Working with KWM Consulting provides the expertise, insight, and framework to ensure your events and meetings are:
FOUR SERVICE AREAS:
Event Strategy…getting to the WHY of your event by clarifying and defining goals and results.
Project Management…ensuring shared purpose and goals across the organization while maintaining vision, mission, and progress.
Meeting Facilitation…leading and facilitating your event/project team, infusing processes and structures for clear communication, efficiency, accountability, and successful outcomes.
Coaching…mentoring and developing your high-potential talent around strategy, project management, leadership, and execution.
I launched KWM Consulting to transform events and meetings into strategic and essential components of a company’s or non-profit’s mission, vision, and goals – to deliver tangible results that drive success.
KWM stands for know what matters – my signature catchphrase, instilled in me by my parents and honed through successes and hard work in the corporate world and through founding and building a regional non-profit.
When I was tapped to spearhead the planning and execution of a leading global IT company’s annual flagship event (>20K on-site attendees), I enthusiastically embraced the opportunity. As I began to familiarize myself with the event playbook, I realized something quite quickly…the event was missing a cohesive, overriding purpose, strategy, goals, and/or targets.
The event had morphed into a patchwork of activities, sessions, and possibilities that, from the outside, appeared effective…but, in reality, wasn’t delivering on results, engaging prospects and clients in meaningful ways, or leveraging experts and executives in effectively to impact business.
Rolling up my sleeves, I began the essential process of leading and developing the overall strategy, content approach, planning, and execution of that annual flagship event, as well as many sales-focused events to follow, ensuring all aligned with organizational goals, delivered quantifiable results that drove sales and profit, and grew more meaningful client and stakeholder relationships.
Because of my ability to bring diverse stakeholders together around a common purpose and plan and by leveraging my experience in sales, sales development, and marketing, I seized the opportunity to develop a winning event strategy and planning methodology that propelled all of these events from good to OUTSTANDING and TRANSFORMATIONAL…and I’m committed to partnering with organizations and non-profits to help them achieve great results, too!
On a more personal note, I launched Ride Hard Breathe Easy, a 501(c)(3) non-profit in memory of my mother. To say I’m proud of having raised $300,000 in less than 3 years to support area lung cancer patients and lung cancer research is the understatement of my life.
Weekends usually find me doing something fitness-related. A major fundraiser for Ride Hard Breathe Easy are my long-distance rides (I’ve biked across the US as well as multi-state treks). With a goal of completing marathons on 5 different continents, I’m training to cross the fourth continent off my list (my plan is to run in the South Korean marathon in Seoul once travel is no longer restricted).
Lastly, as a reflection of my commitment to supporting lung cancer patients and lung cancer research, 20% of all KWM Consulting fees will be donated to Ride Hard Breathe Easy.
